Through the Centuries: Music of Inspiration and Peace - 10am

What can soothe the mind and give it rest? Heal the heart and make it whole? Speak directly to one’s soul, as a gift from Heaven? Music! The NMCC choir will present: Through the Centuries: Music of Inspiration and Peace. Accompanied by strings, oboe and keyboard, choral music of Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart and Mendelssohn will combine with music of contemporary composers John Rutter and Elaine Hagenberg to calm and uplift our spirits. An exquisite experience awaits you.
Palm Sunday - 10:00 a.m.

This first day of Holy Week, we will celebrate Jesus’
entry into Jerusalem with our children carrying palms and pussy willows.
Good Friday Tenebrae - 7:00 p.m
April 18, 2025
Tenebrae means “shadows.” We will read the story
of Jesus’ walk to the cross and crucifixion
as we extinguish candles, accompanying him
into the darkness of the tomb.
Easter Vigil
Our tradition is to take shifts alone or with friends or family in the sanctuary, keeping watch while Jesus is entombed.

As the dawn breaks and we lift up our hearts with music, readings and prayer, celebrating together God’s gifts of new life and wholeness. The cemetery is located less than a mile from NMCC on the right on Route 80, east of the 79/80 Circle, just before Summer Hill Road.
