We, at NMCC, provide warm and caring child care and Sunday school for children from infants through 8th grade.
Infants and Toddlers through age 3 are welcomed in our Nursery staffed by Mrs. Sandra Stella where they will be cared for while you worship upstairs in the sanctuary. Please check in with Mrs. Stella on a Sunday morning.
For children aged 4 through 6th grade we have available a rotationally based Sunday school program lead by lay leaders of our church. Your children will find themselves immersed in a variety of classes that focus on one lesson/story/ teaching but through several different rotations. We use art, music, science, games and cooking as a means to teach the same lesson over a course of approximately five weeks. On the first Sunday of each month the children will find themselves participating in an AGAPE meal where our service mirrors on a smaller scale the communion service you will be participating in upstairs during worship. We welcome YOUR child(ren) and look forward to seeing them!
Our preteens in 7th and 8th grade will find themselves learning all about what it means to be a congregational member of our church. Led by lay leaders of our church these students will explore our faith through the use of the text Balaam’s Unofficial Handbook of the United Church of Christ.
If you haven’t done so already, please complete a registration form for your child(ren) and have them give to their teacher on Sunday.
Please see our Sunday School Calendar for specific titles of rotations as well as dates off.
We welcome YOUR children to NMCC!
