Programs

** Update:  As of 2/27/17 Our PreK and 4’s classes are full but we are taking names for the wait list.  We have just a few spots left in our 3’s class.

All of our programs are play-based and rich in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical developmental experiences.  We  strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for children and their families.Brandon flying

Our classes offer a wide and varied curriculum and include many in house field trips.  We offer music and library on a regular basis and special visits from; Mystic Aquarium, Cool-ology Science, Bauer Park, a dentist,  a fire truck from the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company, and a end of the year bus ride ~ to name a few!

CNS will be offering the following programs for the 2017-2018 school year:

  • “CIRCLE TOTS” is a program for 2-year olds and their moms/caregivers.  The program meets one or more days per week from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.  Children develop independence and socialization in preparation for nursery school while our teacher facilitates child development discussions.  It is a great introduction to school and helps both the children and adults develop new friendships!

  • THREE-YEAR OLD PROGRAM: This program is  offered to children who will be three years old by the end of the calendar year. It is a warn and nurturing preschool program that is often the children’s first school experience.  There is a strong focus on the social and emotional development of the children  in addition to cognitive, physical, and creative activities. This class is offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30p.m and includes a snack and lunch from home. Children must be potty trained.IMG_0619

  • FOUR-YEAR OLD PROGRAM: This class is offered to children who will turn four early in the school year, thru five years old.  The main goals of the class are to encourage children’s love of learning and provide many opportunities to explore their world.  We provide a wide variety of hands-on activities encompassing all areas of a child’s development.    Other topics in the curriculum include music, geography, Spanish, and nutrition.  This class is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m and includes a snack and lunch brought from home.

  • PRE-K PROGRAM :  This class will prepare children for the transition to Kindergarten as they become activie participants in the learning process.  Our play-based curriculum is designed for their individual developmental level and the children’s interests help guide the themes and activities. In addition to providing many ‘academic’ experiences, the children will cook,  help other community organizations, and have many special visitors (a bunny farmer and karate instructor to name a few!).   This is offered as a four or five-day program from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, and also includes a snack and lunch from home.
